Bride-zilla Festival

Wow! It was like a Bride's Disneyland, only there were more girls with giant bags bumping into each other! Both mom's and I went to the Phoenix Bridal Show in Glendale on Sunday and had tons of fun darting from booth to booth gathering the brochures and business cards, signing up for who knows what, grabbing some little tasty treats and even a quick massage along the way. We watched a fashion show with wedding gowns, tuxes, and bridesmaid dresses but we, being girls, critiqued the girls more than we did the dresses! :) There was a one-carat diamond ring hidden in a six foot sheet cake and five brides were chosen to dig through the cake to find the ring, but I wasn't one of them...we are pretty sure it was rigged! I'm in tons of drawings for free this and that...not that I'll win anything, but at least I got some ideas! The most exciting was the one hour teeth bleaching service for only $300, what a deal! I was surprised that I didn't see any travel agents or cruise lines there to give away a free trip or at least a coupon off of airline tickets or something...I was really hoping to win a honeymoon! Although I did win a free tux, won't I look spectacular in a tux?!?! There is another Bridal Expo at the Phoenix Civic Center at the end of January, hopefully we can all make it to that one too! Thanks girls for going with me, I had a wonderful time and I feel rejuvinated with excitement to go to the gym, make all the plans, address all the invitations...all that wedding stuff! Only 144 days until the wedding!!!!
